Martin and The YMCA Oslo Community Choir go to Los Angeles in the end of May. The Choir will perform in The New Christ Memorial Church in San Fernando Valley where Sandra Crouch is the senior pastor.
Martin’s autobiography «Dirigenten» («The conductor») was published in Norway on March 15th by Hermon Forlag.
Martin turns 60 this winter and the celebration starts with a concert tour in March. Concerts will take place in Kristiansand Domkirke on Friday March 8th, Fredrikstad Domkirke on Saturday March 9th and in Bærum Kulturhus on Sunday March 10th. Martin directed the YMCA Oslo Community Choir on a tour of Spain with concerts in Montserrat and the famous cathedral Santa Maria del Mare in Barcelona.
From May 28th to June 3rd Martin directed Fredrikstad Community Gospel Choir on tour in Italy with concerts in Assisi and Rome. The last concert found place in Rome’s Pantheon on Italy’s national day, June 2nd
Martin with legendary Norwegian artist Wenche Myhre after the 20th anniversary concert for «Jazzakademiet» at the Oslo Concert Hall. Reflex and Martin performed at the concert with Wenche Myhre and the other artists.
Martin arranged background vocals for the «A thing called love – the gospel album» . Reflex and singers from Fredrikstad Community Gospel Choir recorded the arrangements for the album.
